An epiphytic fern that sends large new fronds from the centre forming a nest shape is the Asplenium australisicum, commonly known as the 'Birds Nest Fern'. Semi/partial shade helps these delicate fronds from scorching, as it grows upon trees, rocks, and well-draining moist soil.
A low maintence fern that grows to 1.5m x 1.5m, ideal in sub-tropic environments.
Occasional misting of the fronds will keep the tips from browning.
