Epiphytic in nature, the Davallia will enjoy a more barky potting medium. It is common to have a Davallia growing in a hanging basket as it's rizomes (little furry legs, like a rabbit's foot) enjoy wandering and stretches out to its surroundings. A lot more resilient to other ferns, the Davallia still enjoy amongst other high humidity loving plants. Bright indirect light and moist soil is required to help this plant thrive. Misting this plant throughout the warmer months will prevent the fronds from browning.
